About Emma King
I have been practising law in Shepparton since 2013. Throughout my career, it has been a privilege to help my community, delivering front-line services and directly representing those charged by police.

While this experience was invaluable, I realised I missed practising law in regional Victoria, particularly Shepparton. I returned in 2017 to establish a criminal defence firm, Slater & King Lawyers in 2017. I was the director of this practice for seven years before opening my practice, Emma King Criminal Law.
Over my many years of legal practice in this region and beyond, I’m proud to have cultivated not only the respect of the legal community but a strong reputation among our Indigenous and wider community. I’m prepared to fight hard for those who feel they have been overlooked.
